The Route to Dubai has taken off in the magnificent Amphitheater of Pula

The first event of the Legends Team Cup-ATP Champions Tour took place in the fantastic Amphitheater of Pula, Istria thanks to the collaboration with Istria Tourist Board and its partners. Three days of pure tennis, serious competition, and delightful atmosphere.

The Legends Team Cup came to a close on August 3rd, with Team Lendl taking home the money prize and a special trophy, a unique collaboration between Laurence Jenk and Champagne Comte de Monte-Carlo – official champagne of the competition.

Every evening and morning the two captains, Ivan Lendl and Pat Cash, had meetings with their teams before giving their envelopes with the order of play to the Rules and Regulation Director, Enric Molina Mur, which was announced via a draw ceremony held at the Grand Brioni Hotel.

Between each match, spectators had the pleasure of listening to Alex Corretja’s interviews with players and captains and to watch the characteristic entertainment organized by the local host, Istria, to share part of its culture.

The event was a success and saw the enthusiasm of many tennis fans both on site and online thanks to the live streaming of ATP Media’s Tennis TV YouTube channel.
